Appraisals

Appraisals

We know that your jewellery pieces and the memories they hold are priceless — but appraisals can provide helpful knowledge. They provide peace of mind about their monetary value, so that you may insure them against theft, loss, or damage. They also shed light on their unique attributes and special qualities that you may not have been aware of.

At Spicer Cole, we have GIA (Gemology Institute of America) certified appraisers on site, right here in Fredericton, New Brunswick, to take care of your jewellery appraisals.

While in our care, your jewellery will be cleaned, digitally photographed for our records, checked for damages or weaknesses, evaluated, and appraised by our team. Due to the fluctuations in the cost of precious metals and semi-precious and precious stones over time, we recommend updating your appraisals every three to five years in order to keep information and values current.
